Among Us is a multiplayer game for four to fifteen players, although at least five is recommended.[11] Up to three players are randomly[12] and secretly chosen to be the Impostors each round. Starting in 2021, a round can take place on one of four maps: a spaceship called \The Skeld\; a headquarters building named \MIRA HQ\; a planetary base called \Polus\;[13] or an airship based on Innersloth's Henry Stickmin series called \The Airship\.[14][15] Impostors win in two ways: either by killing most of the crew (to the point that they are equal in number), or by sabotaging a critical system on the map (as long as the crewmates don't resolve in time). Crewmates can also win in two ways: by completing all tasks or by identifying and expelling all impostors.[13] Games can also end when players leave the match if doing so fulfills any victory conditions (if a crew member leaves the game, their tasks are automatically considered completed).[16][17][18]
